Coffee & Cameras
Building a creative community around photography, coffee, and connection.
Coffee & Cameras LA is a Los Angeles-based photography community created and run by a two-person team.
Together, we create events and experiences that bring photographers and visual storytellers together around coffee, photography, and exploring Los Angeles.
My role: I lead the creative direction and concept development, shaping the visual identity, event concepts, social content, and overall creative experience.

The Idea
Photography is better together.
We wanted to create something that felt less like a traditional photography meetup and more like a creative community.
Coffee became a natural starting point—a casual way to bring people together, explore the city, and create connections around photography.
As the community grew, we expanded the idea into photography walks, coffee shop collaborations, cultural experiences, and occasional Cocktails & Cameras events.

The Creative
One community. Different experiences.
I lead the creative development across the community, creating a flexible visual and content system that can adapt to different events, locations, and collaborations.
Social
Event announcements, Stories, photography, and recaps.
Events
Creative concepts and visual direction for coffee meetups, photography walks, and special experiences.
Partnerships
Creative concepts for collaborations with coffee shops, cultural spaces, and photography platforms.

The Experience
Bringing people together offline.
The creative extends beyond the screen.
We develop experiences that give photographers a reason to get together, explore Los Angeles, photograph their surroundings, and connect with one another.
Coffee & Cameras
Daytime coffee meetups, photography walks, and creative gatherings.
Cocktails & Cameras
An occasional evening extension of the community.
Special Experiences
Concept-driven events connecting photography with local culture, businesses, and creative spaces.

The Result
A community that keeps evolving.
Coffee & Cameras continues to grow through new events, partnerships, and experiences.
The project has given me the opportunity to lead creative direction in a completely different environment—building a brand and community alongside another founder and responding directly to the people who participate in it.
